literally my first project where I have to use XMPP lol. Dino seems like an alright chat client for it but it wanted me to make an account and it had yax in a dropdown

mort: I think dino integrates the list of public providers that chpst -u artsi0m pointed out to make onboarding easier. You can pick any server, or even host your own if you're into self-hosting. XMPP is both not very popular (sadly) and pretty successful at being effectively decentralized, so there is no flagship instance or "typical" server like there are (to a certain extent) for mastodon or matrix.

is there a nice keyboard way to navigate between terminal panes? It's the one major pain point I have right now, I always have to use the mouse if I'm focused on my left terminal and want to go to the right

I use ctrl+w w to switch focus between terminal and editor, and I use ctrl+w l and ctrl+w h to switch between the right and left editor pane, but I would love for ctrl+w l and ctrl+w h to switch between terminals as well

the helix bindings are fine to me but I'm not an advanced helix user

I don't know, I don't use terminals in the editor

ah I found it: the action is "workspace: activate pane left/right", it works in terminal panes too but the keybind is disabled by default in terminal using the key bind context thingy
